Research
My research is centered on the intersection of design and artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on understanding how designers interact with GenAI systems during the creative process.
Recent Research Projects
iNest Project (Interconnected Nord-Est Innovation Ecosystem)
2025
Working on the Inest Project - Spoke 6 - Tourism, Culture And Creative Industries in Triveneto, focused on integrating AI solutions for cultural heritage and tourism development.
AI & Design Special Interest Group
2024 - ongoing
Developing AI & Design proposal for Special Interest Groups (SIGs) of The Design Society, aiming to create a network of researchers and practitioners exploring the implications of AI in design.
PhD Research
Designer e GenAI: Studio degli aspetti caratterizzanti l'interazione durante la progettazione di concept
2022 – 2025
My doctoral research focuses on analyzing designer-GenAI interaction during concept generation, using workshops and controlled experiments with protocols and physiological tracking, qualitative and quantitative analysis. The aim was to understand how designers and AI can effectively collaborate in the creative process.
